Summary
Leslie advances toward the king- but is ultimately held back, as the other surrounding guards rush to guard Joffrey following Leslie's outburst.
Both siblings are dragged off with another wave of a hand, leaving a tense quiet that blankets the throne room.
Leni watches, standing slouched slightly- as the moment plays out. He catches the man's eye as he's dragged past, and something shifts within him. Leni tilts his head slightly- instinctively, as the other man turns his head away and disappears within of the Red Keep.
He can't die.
Leni doesn't know why, but he can't.
This is the kind of gut feeling that prophets speak about in their sermons. This is the kind of draw that can't be logically explained. This man- with all of the fire and fight within him, cannot be executed in such a cruel way. It's not how the story is supposed to go, and Leni can feel it.
