    Parent-teacher conferences were never fun for anyone- and despite Lang Qianqiu having long since become accustomed to the verbal abuse entitled parents would unleash upon him, he could say with full certainty that they never got any easier.
    Luckily, though, as the evening began to give way into the night, he knew that the finish line was in sight. His final interview of the day was with the parents of his (unofficial) favourite student, Gu Zi.

    Gu Zi was well behaved, mild-mannered and incredibly kind. A good little child like him would, no doubt, have parents to match.

    This would be a piece of cake.
