Summary
Rocky doesn’t offer false assurances or claims that everything will be okay. They both know the world doesn’t work like that, that life isn’t always kind. They both know that you can never truly determine what the future holds, that you never know what you’ll truly do, what action you’ll take, unless faced with the decision head on. Rocky doesn’t lie. He doesn’t sugar coat his words, and is sometimes too blunt for his own good. Grace loves him for it. That bluntness that pulls him out of his own head. His former partners had told him before that he always had ‘his head in the clouds’ and they were right. They used to try to pull him back to Earth, to force him down. Rocky’s never done that. He’s always flown next to Grace, staying by his side as a grounding presence, letting him float but never drift too far. Lives with him in the clouds but keeps them both tethered to Earth.
Or: Modern!Married Grace and human Ortiz!Rocky where we take a walk through the domesticity of their lives, fated in every universe.

Summary
"Is there a reason why you're so adamant about getting a human body?" Grace asks in exasperation. "I mean, what exactly do you want to do if you have one?"
Rocky pauses in his building. Then, with a sound that seems closer to a chuckle than a laugh, he says, "guess."
***
Grace doesn't really know how he gets himself into situations like these.
But as long as Rocky remains interested in only him, then Grace is fine with fulfilling his curiosities about human sex.
Right?
Right?

Summary
There are men turning up dead in the woods, and Chief of Police Charlie Swan has a job to do—figure out what, or who, left the poor bastards torn up as they are. Chief of Police Charlie Swan is too old for this mess. Too old and too sick of this shit to pretend Forks is just a sleepy old rural town anymore. Between the gruesome corpses and the quiet, unsettling doctor Cullen who shows up like a statue in pressed slacks, lying through his teeth, Charlie’s got more questions than answers—and no one seems too keen on giving him either.
Charlie’s trying not to notice how his breath catches when the doc gets too close. He’s also trying not to notice how the bodies keep piling up, unsolved. Neither effort is going particularly well.
And if one more person tells him it was a bear, he’s going to shoot something. Probably not a bear.
