Summary
In a temple hidden near the coast of the Arabian Sea, a small group of cultists are dismayed to find an important tool missing for their yearly ritual sacrifice. Backstage in a London venue, one of the world's most famous drummers receives a mystery package from a fan— a ruby red ring. With the cult closing in and the ring seemingly having a mind of its own, it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.
(A rewrite of Help! to fix plot inconsistencies, poor scripting, racism, and general lack of Ringo love.)

Summary
Simon was seconds away from dying a horrific death. Blood filling the submarine, his arm torn off, and being in the jaws of an eldritch monster. It seemed like a certain end, until he's suddenly surrounded by a blue light and spat out onto a ship he doesn't recognize, no longer drowning in blood or torn to shreds by rows of teeth.
Soon after, the Captain and the Head Engineer of the ship find him and, after quickly understanding he's from another universe (and from the looks of it, a bad one), actually decide to help him, healing his fatal wounds, and welcoming him to their colony, letting him stay for however long he likes.
For Simon, it feels like it's too good to be true. A universe where the Quiet Rapture never happened, COI and Eden non-existent, and finally given a proper second chance to redeem himself from years of being "The Butcher". And maybe, just maybe, possibly having the chance to be closer to people in ways he never thought he could before...
That is, however, until the cause of the Rapture begins to haunt him again, both in mental and physical ways, and that may not only ruin his second chance at life and this new universe...but also the people he holds closest as well...
