Hidan gets back at the emergency room and he sits down beside Dre Senju.
''Stubborn old fuck. Why do you insist on curing him?'' Asks Hidan, taking a bite from a granola bar on the counter.
''He's in incredible shape for a man his age. He has an excellent quality of life. I'm not going to let him waste away because he's too proud.'' Answers Tsunade, looking at blood test results on her computer.
''His age? Calm down, he's, what, sixty? He needs life to kick his butt for him to understand.''
Tsunade grins. ''He's 91.''

Hidan’s plan for his birthday goes something like this: 1. Push Kakuzu. 2. Insult Kakuzu. 3. Have sex with Kakuzu. 4. Kakuzu gets over whatever’s making him grumpy and buys Hidan dinner or a new weapon (or both!)...
Kakuzu’s plan for Hidan’s birthday is much different, but first, he needs to get rid of his debilitating case of writer’s block.

“You’re an idiot. It’s conspicuous. That woman will remember us now.”
It was a piss poor excuse, and both of them knew it.
Hidan grinned salaciously.
“Oh come on, Kakuzu. I think my collar is the least conspicuous thing about us.”
He lazily ran a hand over his chest, and Kakuzu almost scoffed. Hidan must really overestimate himself if he thought that something as cheap and easy as feeling himself up would be enough to get him what he wanted.
“I think it does bother you. And you know what else I think? I think it turns you on.”
