“Not just any shell,” Gon drawled, stretching her fins. “A chambered nautilus shell. Mari blinked at her before continuing to move the remaining boxes and crumbs away from the beds. “I swear- it’s the most important courting gift you could ever give another mermaid.”
Or, Mari accidentally gives Lara a courting gift, and deals with the consequences.
