Vi’s chuckle fades as she keeps eye contact with her sister, her hands not moving from her waist… her hands… are moving… her sister… closer.
The eye contact is too much for them so they each close their eyes, but their hands guide them. Vi pulls her closer, Jinx pulls her down.
Their lips touch, deliberately. They hold it for two heartbeats then let go.
“Umm, goodnight Jinx.” Vi doesn't open her eyes until she's turned down the hallway. She enters her room, closes the door behind her without turning, then slides her back against the door until she is sitting on the floor.
What the fuck just happened.
