...And here he was, a puppy dog in her arms. At least she knew that if anyone tried to mess with her, she’d be very protected. They fell into a comfortable silence, enjoying each other’s warmth. Lumine ran her hand over the scars on his skin, giving each one of them their due and their love. He’d gone through so much. She had, too, but not to such a degree.
“Lumine?” He mumbled out eventually. There was a sleepiness to his voice, and she couldn’t help the smile on her face.
“Yes?”
“I love you.” He nuzzled further to her neck. “Like, a lot.”

Lumine is a second year History major at a prestigious university, focusing on Social and Political History. One of the elective courses she is able to take is History of Jazz, which is incredibly confusing. When she approaches her professor to recommend a tutor for her, she is introduced to Thoma, a fourth year music major, who is immediately willing to help her out with her questions.
