Annette doesn’t believe in the Fae. Not anymore. Or, at least, she doesn’t believe in them right up to the point that she discovers her favorite childhood story is true when she accidentally wishes away her best friend to the Fae.
Felix can’t believe he’s been summoned by a human. He really can’t believe that the stubborn human woman is risking her life to travel to the land of the Fae in order to bring her best friend back to the human world.
