Summary
For many years, he stayed by her side, fighting for her, thinking only of her well-being; but Rogue only understood how important all of it was when it was too late to repay him.
During the time she spent in Egypt, Erik convinced her to move on. She eventually gave up and even after they returned home, things would never be the same.
Until things changed and she found out that Remy LeBeau was alive. Knowing the risks and everything she could lose, she went after him anyway, perhaps hoping to pick up where they had left off.
He would have waited for her, wouldn't he?
