Summary
Doctor Strange saw 14,000,605 possible futures in the fight against Thanos, but he found only one way to win. If he had stayed in that time loop for just a tiny bit longer—maybe a millisecond—he might have discovered another way to succeed. This option was less likely than Tony Stark’s brave self-sacrifice, which ultimately sent him to the underworld. However, Strange did not see the unbeatable strength of Peter Parker.
