Addam hummed to show he was deep in thought, his big hand rubbing Lucery's back when he gave a shiver.
”What if you were already mated? Then the king would have no choice but to honor your bond yes?” Addam inquired.
”While that may work, it still leaves us with the question: Who will be the one to face my uncle’s wrath by my side?”
“Isn't it obvious Luke? Me.” Addam laughed.
Or, Luke doesn't want to marry Aemond and Addam's been hopelessly in love with Lucerys since they were introduced. He now sees the opportunity to get what he wants and help Luke's little problem all in one.
