Summary
David thinks about the general pattern of Emma's interactions with Neal and realizes he's far more used to her referring to him as "my brother" or "kiddo" or anything else from her arsenal of nicknames. He's not actually sure when the last time he heard her refer to him by name was. It's odd, David supposes, but then he thinks about how often she refers to Henry as "kid," or the way she calls Killian "babe" almost as much as she uses his name, and he brushes it off.
Except he can't stop thinking about it.
And that's when he starts to notice the flinch.Or, David and Snow get the real story about Emma's relationship with Neal.

Summary
Ever since Gustave had first wrapped his arms around him a few weeks ago, Verso knew he was doomed. It was a familiar feeling, usually accompanied with an array of other dreadful emotions. This time it was mixed with the most dangerous one - hope.
As their relationship progresses, Verso is soon forced to confront all his guilt and self-hatred and they both end up working through their insecurities and unresolved trauma, to make their relationship survive amidst that lurking darkness of their past.

This is Verso's POV of the story, describing his thoughts and feelings. There's also some new additional scenes and part 2 became almost double the length of part 1.

Summary
Gustave kept his distance to Verso for weeks after Maelle brought them all back. One night changes everything and a tentative friendship soon turns into more. When Gustave wakes up alone after their first night together, he starts to worry about all the possible reasons why Verso could’ve left him. They both end up working through their insecurities, guilt and unresolved trauma, to make their relationship survive amidst that lurking darkness of their past.

Summary
“Of course, you are more than welcome here, for as long as you’d like.” is Emma’s instant and smooth reply, delivered with an effortless aplomb that is well-suited to her Chief Councilor role; there’s no hiding the sharpness of her eyes, however, that intelligent glint that speaks of veiled suspicion and careful calculations. “Any friend of Maelle is a friend of ours.”
As expected, Maelle is more than ecstatic by Emma’s easy acceptance, but her mood quickly plummets when she spots Gustave’s less-than-thrilled expression: if looks could kill, Verso is pretty sure he would be lying in a pool of his own blood by now, but after some uncomfortable staring the man just scoffs and looks quickly on the side, cheeks flushed by what Verso can only presume is a good dose of barely repressed anger. “...Sure, whatever. If that’s what Maelle wants.”
(After making a promise to each other at the Canvas' edge, Maelle restores Lumiére to its former splendor, and Verso tries to live his life in it as simply and unobtrusively as possible.
Too bad that Gustave absolutely hates Verso's guts, and Verso's blossoming feelings for Gustave are of a complete opposite nature.)
