   For just a moment it’s real and their eyes are locked while they both trap any words that might come out behind their teeth.

   For just a moment it’s like they never broke up, and they’re still Deku and Kacchan. Two halves of the same broken soul.

   The two silently nod at each other before turning to get in their own cab. Izuku doesn’t have to hide this from Shoto because they both know; Deku and Kacchan never made much sense after all.
