Wakiya is tired of never feeling good enough, tired of training nonstop only to get nowhere. So, when the odds are once again stacked against him, and he's forced to lose to Zac in his "Beyblade Mask" guise for the second time, he snaps.
With one Bey gone and one Spin Emperor out of the tournament, he thinks he might just have a chance at winning, until he remembers the other three. Something has to be done about them, too. Why not steal all of their Beys, steal all of their chances, and finally win something for once?
Meanwhile, Zac is a wreck after losing his Bey, and not being able to remember what happened. To help him out, Orochi decides to investigate alongside a rather unorthodox partner.
