Summary
"It’s hard to make friends as an adult, ya know! So this is a special occasion for me, running into ya and everything earlier this week and inviting you here. I only really cook for Atsumu when he’s home, and for my daughter. But those two are hardly a tough crowd, they’ll eat anything. You looked like a challenge.”
A challenge, huh?
Then Akaashi’s mind backtracks a bit.
Something about a daughter. Wait, a daughter?

Summary
"Huh?" is Atsumu's response, and it's seemingly the only thing the man could think of after the minute-long silence that stretched between them.
"We should break up," Kiyoomi repeats, more clearly now. He doesn't let any emotion seep into his voice, keeping it neutral and detached, as if breaking up with Atsumu was the easiest thing ever, while in fact it's the complete opposite.

Summary
The first time it happened Sakusa hadn't really noticed.
“Oi” Miyas voice was loud and grating, easily heard over the other loud and grating voices in the changing rooms “how do you spell imbecil?”
Sakusa carried on towelling off, ignoring the question thrown out to the room, huffing in amusement at the irony of Miya not being able to spell the word.
Atsumu facing the frustration of having a learning disorder, with Kiyoomi noticing and trying his best to help ❤️

Summary
"we hooked up and now the city has shut down for a week due to a pandemic and now we're stuck in your apartment" AU
--
There’s a comfortable quiet while Sakusa butters some toast until Atsumu’s phone starts ringing from where it’s plugged into the wall. Sakusa scoops it up from the desk in the living room and hands it over to Atsumu, who puts it on speakerphone.“Yo, ‘Samu,” Atsumu says, around a mouthful of cereal.
“Oh, so now you pick up.”
“My phone died!”
“We thought you died. It’s lucky you weren’t murdered. Unlucky for me, I’ve always wondered what it was like to be an only child.”
“You mean, I’m lucky I wasn’t murdered by his dick –“
“SHUT –“
Atsumu grins and shoots at look at Sakusa, who raises his eyebrows and takes a sip of coffee.
