And Remus looked at him then, really looked at Sirius, because something seemed familiar about this. Have I met you before?
It’s January 1997, and Remus has just begun the spring term of his first year at Hartwell University.
He’s pretty content, with his show at the radio station and a secret music website on the side. Over the summer, when Remus found out that padfoot, one of the commenters on his site, was the anonymous lead singer from a band he wrote about, the two started emailing and became fast friends.
Obviously, padfoot is Sirius, who’s attending school halfway across the country. But then something happens with his band, and Sirius, James, and Peter have to transfer to a new university midway through the year. Only, it’s the same one that Remus goes to.
Remus, who Sirius has no idea is actually moony, the sarcastic music writer who fills up his inbox nearly every night.

A story of friendship, love, loss, and coming back together which mostly follows canon. This story has a lot of love in it, but a lot of pain as well — don’t read expecting an easy happy ending, it’s compliant after all.
