“You learn how to do that in super soldier school?”
He dropped it, standing to his full height, a step too close. Sarah’s heart started skipping. “Odd jobs were kind of my thing, before the, uh, super soldier stuff. Easy way to win over a pretty girl.”
Sarah’s jaw dropped and she disliked how easy he made her smile. It was unnerving. Sarah was supposed to be pleasant but aloof. Here this man was making her smile for real. “Sure that wasn’t just ego?”
“Oof,” he said, a mockery of a wounded expression on his face before that charmer grin was back. “She strikes. I’m in trouble now.”

Namora said, in her native tongue, “I came to bleed you for the sharks.”
Nakia said, also in Namora’s native tongue, “Then do it.”

Summary
This is just a place to put silly or fluffy Sambucky ficlets or drabbles.
Chapter 1: Bucky doesn't know how to use a washing machine.
Chapter 2: Sarah has some news to share about Sam.
Chapter 3: Sam won't rest after a mission, so Bucky intervenes.
Chapter 4: Bucky doesn't believe in God, but he believes in an angel.
Chapter 5: Sometimes Bucky can't believe the worst luck turned into the best.
Chapter 6: Sam talks to birds and Bucky pretends he doesn't support Sam's hobbies. (He does.)
Chapter 7: An accident leaves Sam able to talk to birds. Unfortunately they've got an attitude and an agenda... to see Sam and Bucky kiss.
Chapter 8: Bucky can't sleep, so he thinks of Sam. Canon compliant to the couch scene in ep 5.
Chapter 9: Bucky helps Sam be still, for just a little while.Bucky started to notice that after missions, Sam could never stand still. He fidgeted with a restlessness Bucky knew too well. The fight just wouldn’t leave, wouldn’t settle.

Ch 2: How did Phastos and Ben meet? Coffee shop edition.--
“I’m Ben,” apparently Ben said, sliding a drink in front of him.
“Okay,” Phastos replied, uninterested, glancing at him over the top of his disguise glasses. He was reading. “I didn’t order this.”
Ben shrugged. “You looked like you needed it.”
Phastos harrumphed and went back to his book. Sunshine smiles and three day stubble was not enough to make him care about people.

“He was thorough,” Bucky observes, cracking a smile as he flips through the pages of Sam’s old history book. “Was he always like this?”
“Only with the things he was especially taken with,” Sarah says. A smirk plays at the corner of her mouth. “He was very taken with the Howlies.”
Sarah fits a lot of meaning in the way she says taken, and Bucky gets it. “Gabe?”
“Was one of his personal heroes.” Sarah pauses and eyes Bucky meaningfully. “But Sam didn’t have an enormous schoolboy crush on Gabe Jones.”
