Summary
The Doctor has been living in the Noble-Temple household post-Giggle and has healed enough that he is either willing to or has already talked to Donna about most of the traumatic things in his life. He has coping skills and is generally able to handle whatever memories pop up in his relatively simple daily life.
But when a childhood memory is brought up by a simple conversation, he doesn't quite know what to think of it, not on his own.So. I wrote this because I couldn't sleep and instead of it being my pain it is now the Doctor's pain because I said so. Yes it is 4 am whatever.
Also to be so, so clear, this is not a porn fic remotely. Stay away from me if that's what you're looking for, you won't find it.
TW for explicit memories of CSA, internalized victim blaming, trauma responses, etc. But Donna is a very good friend, and it's not super explicit. Mostly just hurt/comfort. But the details of the experience are there.
