Summary
Two weeks after the day Eddie broke the news, Buck walked into Eddie’s house without pre-made plans expecting to help him pack some more or look at house listings but he opened the door and immediately saw stacks of boxes and suitcases packed in the living room. Buck took a step back outside to make sure he had walked into the correct house, and as he did he realized there was a Uhaul trailer attached to the back of Eddie’s truck. Looking around the house that was no longer going to be his home he realized Eddie was going to leave without saying goodbye.

He knew that this family he found for himself would eventually start pushing him out when they remembered all these things about him. Once the negatives he felt about himself started to outweigh the positives. He gave up being the one trying to show himself if he had a place in their lives. That's how he ended up here alone in his empty quiet loft hoping to not be noticed anymore.
