In an alternative universe, Breach (Erik) and Sova (Sasha) live as roommates and regular college students. One drunken night they befriended KJ (Klara), Raze (Tatá) and Sage (Li), who happened to live in the same building. Breach's buddies from the past, Cypher (Amir) and Viper (Sabine), join the group after moving in the city, and they do what every well-functioning friendship group does. Drinks, smokes and miscommunicates.Sasha and the gang notices that Li is acting weird. She’s studying her way through medical school and one night, comes across a patient and makes a big mistake. Sova tries to tackle both his friend’s problem and his own futile crush on the med student.
What kind of gang name is Valorant, anyway?
Note: The characters are very loosely based on Valorant lore and characters. Also the lore is obviously different in this setting, but still including radianite. Inspired by Skins, Euphoria and other substance abuse filled media. I was just in the mood to write something fun.

She could only stare at him, with an unpleasant sense about where this conversation was lingering, she tried to deny it. “You’re not a healer.”
She could feel the man give a slight smile. “And lately, neither are you. You are utterly useless now when you’re trying to do so much.”

"Beg." She left out a whimper. "I'm not going to beg, Sova." her voice was a little more than a mumble, and a lot more unstable than she would have liked. They were just friends after all. Good friends. She had dreamed of this moment too many times, even if she told herself that it would complicate otherwise such a simple friendship she was lucky to have.
