“I’m never getting out of this fucking gas station.” He muttered to himself, staring angrily at the offending tickets in the clear case beneath his hands.
“Um. I-…Could I just, uh, get these M&Ms? Please?”
Reki snapped his head up, heat rushing to his face at the realization that someone was standing directly in front of his till while he was busy lamenting the price of nice microphones. He scrambled to rip one of his earbuds out, simultaneously grabbing the M&Ms from the countertop and fumbling for the scanner. Shifting hurriedly to stand upright and hit all the buttons on register, he cleared his throat and tried to act chill.
“Your total will be 3.95$.”

Summary
Reki Kyan and Langa Hasegawa was the friendship you think of when you think of a perfect friendship. They both loved the same things, they both had the same sense of humor, they both had mostly the same thoughts on things. Of course, they’ve had their rough patches. Jealousy, guilt, miscommunication, and having crushes on each other.
Oh yes, they had the fattest, juiciest crushes on each other. The only thing was, neither of them knew that the other liked them.

It’s Valentine’s Day and all Reki can think about is how, at the age of 17, he has still yet to receive a single Valentine. Not a single one. No flowers, no chocolate, not even a letter. So, what exactly is the problem? Reki assumes there must be something wrong with him. Langa disagrees.
