Summary
For over one hundred years, Dazai has lived in a time loop. No matter what he said or did, Dazai would wake up, sixteen years old, and then die tragically at some point before his eighteen birthday. He was doomed to this fate, and after so many decades of trying to fight it, he'd long since given up. There was no resisting time and no hope for a future. He would idly spend his days repeating the same events for the same two years until the end of time.
That is until something new reared its head, shattering the repetitive nature of his life. An unexpected friendship that had never even come close to existing in previous loops suddenly formed. However, Dazai wouldn't believe this new event could change anything. Hope for an escape from his fate had died in him long ago.
After all, there's no way one little relationship could cause a domino effect that would eventually lead to the unraveling of the time loop, a discovery of the existence of gods, the resurfacing of long forgotten legends and curses, or the (barely avoided) destruction of the whole world, right?
On second thought, maybe it could.
