A God Among Mages (A God Among Us rewrite)
What do you get when an alien posing as a god grows a conscience and works to undermine the rule of their kind over ancient humans? What do you get when this alien goes into hiding on Earth? What do you get when this alien discovers human magic wielders are not just stories but reality? Absolute chaos as this alien hitches a ride to a school of magic, learns some of the greater mysteries of humanity through their host, and all the while worrying if humans will open the thrice damned Stargate.
This is the story of one human mage, Michael Wyndham, and the alien hitching a ride in his head, Seshat, as they navigate the fallout of their faithful blending.
