She thought she would have gotten used to it by now. He was a wanderer after all. No doubt about it.
It made sense with all of the responsibilities held on his back alone. As a matter of fact, she would do anything she could to get away from Grimshaw and her demands– just stopping short of actually killing the woman for some peace– or maybe not, so she could only imagine what it was like for him. Of course he needed some time alone from time to time. She missed him something fierce though. He’d been gone for at least two and a half weeks now.
