Despite the fact that someone could surely contradict him on this, Tartaglia considered himself a lucky person.
Even if he himself considered that his life was intrinsically based on waiting.
Because life was that. Waiting for a spark to catch fire and start a fire to get his life back on track.
And on that occasion, the spark was a Traveler. And he hadn't expected that such a tiny golden spark could start such a wildfire. A fire that would melt even a frozen lake.
Maybe the Traveler was what Tartaglia was waiting for.
And Tartaglia waited. And waited. And waited.
Just like waiting for the ice under his feet to crack, and sink.
