Summary
Draco was a troubled boy growing up. He was the ultimate menace to Wizarding society. It left his parents no choice but to send him to Durmstrang, hoping that the cold institution would shape him up. Unfortunately, he came back even worse than before.
After barely graduating from Durmstrang and returning to London, Lucius forces Draco to start from the bottom of the Malfoy family business. Upon his first day on the job, he meets the sweet and innocent Hermione Granger. She becomes his entire world and he'd stop at nothing to keep it that way, even if it means killing anyone that gets in his way.
Or a morally bankrupt Draco meets a sweet baby angel Hermione.

She had intentionally led Draco the long way round, to better take in the shop’s white timber-frame exterior, with the twinkling Christmas trees dotting the balconies and the lights blazing from the windows.”A few months after their reunion, Hermione takes Draco shopping. In Muggle London (and Diagon Alley, too, of course…), because he feels he still has something to prove to her.

But the water cascading over him is hot enough to scald his skin pink, and the fingers tracing along the edge of the feather buried in his back are his fingers, the same he’s had all his life, the ones that have mapped his own body out like the constellations in the sky.
The first feather. A rite of passage, usually, a sign of welcomed maturity. Or so his mother had told him, in those hushed-under-blanket whispers when the world around them shrank down to her bright blue gaze searching his face.
