Kojiro deepens the kiss, nudging Kaoru’s mouth open with his tongue, entangling with the others and fighting for dominance. He cups Kaoru’s cheek with one hand and wraps his arm around his back with the other, switching their position so Kaoru is now the one against the wall. The tense nature of the kiss beings to morph into something more primal.

Kaoru needs a fake date for a high society calligraphy gala to dodge an arranged marriage. Kojiro agrees on one condition, Kaoru isn't allowed to build any walls while they're pretending to be in love.
What starts as a tactical maneuver to fool a room of traditionalist snobs quickly turns into a very real, very terrifying confession under the rain.
Or, the one where Kaoru tries to treat romance like a legal contract, and Kojiro completely shatters the terms.

“Jesus,” Kojiro groans, bringing a hand to his forehead. “How much did we drink last ni…” He trails off when he notices a light glint off of something on his hand.
He brings his hand closer to his face. He blinks.
Is that a ring on his finger?
“Wow,” Kojiro murmurs. “This is pretty cool. Do you remember how I got this?”
When he glances up, Kaoru presses his lips together and looks away. That’s when Kojiro notices that there’s something shiny on Kaoru’s hand, too.
“Oh,” Kojiro says with a laugh. “You have one, too.” He leans forward to get a better look, his eyes darting between the two rings. “The designs are pretty similar,” Kojiro observes out loud. “That’s neat. We’re matching! We have… matching… rings…”
He trails off. He stares at Kaoru’s hand. He stares at his own hand.
He stares at the ring.
He stares at the ring on his ring finger.
“Right,” Kaoru says eventually. “I probably should have mentioned.”
“Uh,” Kojiro croaks out.
“...I think we got married last night.”
“What?”

It's been a while since he's been at S, so it'd be nice to catch up with old friends. But he'd be lying if he said he hasn't been looking for one in particular.
And, ah— there he is. Joe.
He's surrounded by pretty young women, as per usual. He's chatting and laughing, soaking up the attention. Clearly he hadn't been paying attention to Cherry's race at all.
