Summary
A love story could be so complicated, but also could be so simple to others. For Baxter and Dante, their love story started complicated. Burning feelings hidden and kept at bay for the sake of professionalism. To Baxter, he also thought that he had hurted Dante to the point he couldn’t salvage their past friendship. The ties that he himself cut off.
And for Dante’s part, he had decided to stop his fighting. To stop connecting. But, maybe, fortunate for Baxter, Dante stopped only a few days before Miranda’s brother, Jude’s preparation for marriage with Scott. A marriage that Baxter helped to plan. Their first reunion after years of one-sided conversation.
