James was struck, suddenly, by the injustice of it all: here was Mr. Hickey, murderous lout that he was, looking as healthy and fresh-faced as James had ever seen him. His skin was clear, his beard neat. By contrast James knew he looked as he felt; a collection of body parts and organs held together through sheer force of will, teeth loose and rotting in his mouth, skin blistered and weeping in protest of its continued exposure to an air James knew now he was never meant to breathe.
That’s when Mr. Hickey opened his mouth.

“Right, I need another drink.” Louis gets up heavily, ignoring Zayn’s concerned look and Eleanor’s guilty one.
His head is still fuzzy, but he doesn’t feel warm anymore.

“Loras?” Renly sounded so surprised that Loras had actually picked up, that if this were any other situation Loras would have smiled. The sound of Renly’s voice, however, was bringing memories rushing back, and a tight, coiled feeling spread through his chest.
“What do you want?” Loras tried to keep his voice as flat and blank as he could, but he couldn't stop his hand from shaking against his ear. God, this hurt more than he was expecting it to. Definitely a bad idea to answer – now he remembered why he’d been studiously ignoring his phone for the past two weeks.

In a world where vampires have risen to take charge as the dominant species, the last of the human race has been forced into servitude and submission. His life, however, takes an unforeseen turn when he discovers a vampire in his best friend’s kitchen – a vampire who said best friend is not only friends with, but related to. The last thing he wants is to spend more time with Gerard Way. But Gerard has plenty of problems of his own, one being his desperate need to hire a secretary. And, well. Frank really needs a job.
As Gerard realises that hiring Frank only adds to his problems, Frank may have to come to terms with the fact that it isn’t only vampires who can be prejudice.
