Summary
Till believed Ivan died sacrificing himself for him. Ivan believed Till died in the fiery destruction of the Alien Stage.
And neither knew that the other survived.
Eight years later, Till has settled into caring for the children he'd rescued from the Alien Stage Museum with the help of the rest of the Rebellion, while Ivan continues working to fulfill what he believes would have been Till's last wish. When they're reunited, they have the chance to say everything they should have said once upon a time and to discover the mutual love that once eluded them. But only if they can overcome all the scars that mark them.

Summary
Till visited the garden each time he came to the Outpost. Ivan was buried with doting hands, tucked in serenity and realness. It should've been enough. Till stared at the red, violently sprouting amongst the gentle colours. He remembered placing the flower crown on his head, a delicate gesture met with brutality. Would he even want this? The thought simmered with an onslaught of nausea. The wind bristled against his agitated skin. He was reminded, once again, of how little he understood him.
Till’s fingers dug into his chest, nails pierced despite the fabric. The gaping hole in his heart remained. Closure promised to him never came. How could it? Ivan died feeling unloved and unwanted. There was no rest for him, nor did the subject of his torment deserve it.

Takes place 8 years after the Alien Stage was blown up. Till has found some semblance of peace with the rebels. It doesn't last long. Ivan might be alive, forcing Till to confront the pain again.

Till is a normal 29-year-old man working a normal nine-to-five job in order to survive. Well, he isn’t entirely normal, since most men his age would’ve lost their virginity by now. He doesn’t mind being a virgin, though; it’s not like it’s severely affecting his life.
That is, until his 30th birthday.

Or: After living for three decades without having his cherries popped, Till somehow gains mind-reading powers. He does not know the ‘hows’ or ‘whys,’ only that these newfound powers have led him to read his coworker, Ivan’s, thoughts. And, they are...a lot to take in. To say the least.
