“Oh? But I just did,” he hummed, eyes glinting with mischief as he leaned close enough to you where you could feel his breath fanning against your skin, sending a shiver down your body. “You can lie all you want,” he continued, “but your cheeks don’t lie.”
You couldn’t help your eyes drifting down to his lips, noting how close he was to you. There was yearning laced between the two of you, the unspoken tension growing as you wanted to lean in wholly to close the gap or just wait and see what he’d do, if he’d pull away to tease you further, or if he’d lean in as well.
