Peter wasn't sure what had just happened. One second, he was being carried by an angel. The next, he was hitting the floor. He felt like he'd been hit by a thousand trucks and then thrown off the Empire State Building. He coughed, sputtering out blood, his body shook, and he curled in on himself at the pain.

Peter blinked in the bright light. Something wasn’t right. He’d been on patrol, peacefully sat on a rooftop, waiting. No spidey sense, no sound, no warning, all of a sudden there was a sharp pain to the back of his head and- Peter looked around. Where was he? Did he leave the stove on? Oh god, what was he supposed to do if he did? Was he dead? Was this heaven? Hell?
“Next.” A bored voice called from in front of him. Peter quickly stepped forward to the dull oak desk that had seemingly just appeared in the otherwise blank landscape. “Name?” the person asked. They looked like a secretary. Was this an office? Yup, hell. Maybe not going to church was a mistake. -

Peter's in debt, single, and has some friends who are (mildly) assholes to him. What was he going to do? Say no to a little more cash in his bank account. All he had to do was go on this stupid dating show, talk to a few girls, and then leave. That was the plan anyway, that was until he saw the most attractive man he had ever seen and... no women?? What was going on?

The man in front of him flushed the most gorgeous shade of pink.

Yeah, Wade wanted to see that again. The man was adorable.
“Hey, baby boy.” Wade greeted him, leaning on the table towards the boy, “What brings a cutie like you to these parts.” The boy rolled his eyes and oh yeah, he was definitely Wade’s type.
“Take a wild guess on that one and get back to me,” The boy teased, his eyes not once leaving Wade’s.
Wade’s heart did a little flutter. “Well, I’ll need a number for that one.”
“We’ll see about that one. I’ve heard I’ll be stuck with you for a week, so maybe you’ll get it if you’re good.”
Wade was speechless at that and was mildly glad that the boy was quickly occupied talking to another person who’d stood next to Wade.
