Summary
Some years after the events of Weirdmageddon a strange illness begins to spread across the united states, starting in the pacific northwest. Dipper and Mabel's parents have both succumb to the illness, having to be monitored in a medical facility, leaving them to run away from the care of their aunt and find their Great uncles. Together the four of them search for places unaffected by the illness in order to find a cure.
Wirt and Greg have been safely out of the unknown for just over a year, and Wirt is not exactly interested in another life endangering, possibly soul altering adventure. He is completely content with life in the bubble of his town.
