Years after an act of violence and betrayal by his Jaeger Co-Pilot Billy Russo, Frank Castle is being drafted back into the Pan Pacific Defense Corp's dying Jaeger Program. Desperate for a program revival--and for funding-- the Jaeger Program re-comissions the Jaeger known as The Punisher.
Karen Page is a hopeful JP recruit that has been in recruitment limbo for years, until she is matched with Frank Castle.
The two are drift compatible, but also a mess due to the trauma, rage, and guilt they drag into the drift with them. With a kaiju attack imminent, Frank and Karen don't have long to untangle their shared mess of a drift to help protect the people they care about.
