Summary
Entreri has no soul-mate. He despises his lost soul-mark. He does not believe in the love of soul-mates. He has lived the evil of it being abused. With Jarlaxle, such things don't matter to Entreri, because drow have no soul-mates, and Jarlaxle has no soul-mark. Still, Jarlaxle too knows the evil of men and drow and the soul-mates. Perhaps the two having that in common is enough for them to travel together, and to find more in each other than the fairy-tale romance that the words on their skin promise.
