Summary
She’s small, smaller than the rest of those in her group he was tracking. He might even think it’s a child if not by the protruding spinal ridges, a sure sign of a young adult nereid. Her long hair, azure blue, manages to shield her modesty as she trembles, body wracked with what is most likely fear at the large forming group. Her tail, definitively her most beautiful trait so far, is coiled close. The gradient blues both on the top and bottom of her body are a perfect match save for the sporadic purple scales that dot her arms and torso up the siding of her neck and onto her blood-streaked cheeks.
When he finally takes full note of her face, eyes meeting for the first time, the world tilts on its axis. For a moment, he believes the ship to be capsizing under him at the force of the blow.Series
