"Why didn't you just buy from them?" Simon asked, sitting to watch Kyle work as he mixed up the silicone and carefully poured the completed mixtures into the molds set out over more plastic wrap, "Thought you'd leave something like this to the professionals."
"I was going to, but none I asked could get these done and shipped to us by Easter," Kyle said, setting an empty cup aside and picking up another set to mix up and fill another mold, "and I wanted to make sure I had plenty for you to find," he grinned.

Summary
"Some people just like to spice up their holidays. It's not like everyone who celebrates is hanging out with family. Hell seems kinda fitting if you ask me," The boyfriend replied with a soft chuckle, "I mean, c'mon, the joke writes itself. On the third day, he had risen."
John had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from letting out a soft snort at those words, while the girl just scoffed and gently smacked her partner with their shopping. "It still feels wrong," she said, crossing her arms over her chest, "Where would someone even buy something like that?"

Summary
It wasn't his favorite holiday, but it was still one he had enough fond memories for, "I do miss the basket some years," he confessed, "Would be nice getting one again, but not too big a fan of chocolate anymore. Makes my teeth hurt."
He should have known that saying that would have led him to this situation. There was a sizable basket waiting for him on the coffee table when he came down from bed. Mace was in the kitchen brewing coffee and getting Simon's morning tea ready. He stared at the basket, his face neutral as he took in all the little "treats" Mace had picked out for him.

Simon didn't reply right away, curling up tighter as the small curl of his tail seemed to wilt, his ears pressed down tight to his sweat-slick curls. "Hurts," he managed to bite out, his arms wrapping tightly around his swollen stomach. "Never hurt before."
Johnny softened as his hand stroked around to Simon's front feeling the taut skin of his abdomen, "You also never took an expiramental drug to stop it before," Johnny whispered, gently guiding Simon to turn over to face him so he could get a proper look at him, "Looks like it was a bust and you're still one of the fabled Easter bunnies," he said, his voice light as he tried to lighten the situation with some humor.

Summary
"What isn't it obvious?" Simon asked, raising an eyebrow, "I'm the gold at the end of the rainbow."
That broke Mace; he was doubling over, hands on his knees, as he shook with laughter that quickly turned into a coughing fit as he struggled to breathe. He loved this stupid man so much and was grateful it was this insanity that greeted him and not an affair because he didn't know if he could handle that right now. "You're a fucking idiot."
