Summary
With rumors of a Holy War brewing in the distance, Merlin gathers the six deadly sins to join together on a mission to find something or someone. It turns out this thing they were meant to find is actually an imprisoned demon prince named Meliodas from 3000 years ago, who has been sealed as punishment for falling in love with a goddess.
The revelation that Merlin intends him to join the team goes about as well as you would think.
But with danger looming in the near future and secrets slowly being exposed will Meliodas find a family with the Sins?

Or, Meliodas was "tricked" by Goddess Elizabeth during the First war. Locked away for millennia, he manages to escape after the newly formed Deadly Sins free him. From there, he must learn to navigate this new world. Forced to deal with and decipher emotions, get over his daddy issues, confront his survivor's guilt, and deal with his trauma. And, for some reason, the king's daughter looks oddly familiar.

Summary
Elizabeth has auditioned for an acting opportunity that only admits the best of the best. There are Two Stages to be accepted, and for the First Stage everyone has to be paired and act the part of a couple. She hasn't talked to Meliodas for a year and a half but is forced to tolerate him until their performance in front of the judge-and why the hell is he so good at writing scripts?!
Things are different to what Elizabeth had originally predicted, lost feelings are stirring, and Ban tells her that 'Some things will only be understood at the end,' which is probably the wisest phrase she's heard him say.
