Summary
Alunite’s been flying for Outer Wilds Ventures since before Tephra and Galena learned how to walk, and over time they’ve become the space programs leading provider of all things Nomai.
Hundreds upon hundreds of ancient nomaian text samples? acquired. Bone samples? you’ve visited the museum, haven’t you? Miscellaneous trinkets and tools such as worn clothes, rusted utensils, broken technology and one particular nomaian doll with crumbled limbs and withered seams? gathered and graciously mourned.
They’ve visited Brittle Hollow in particular more times than they can count on their fingers but with their last voyage losing them their audio-log recorder and temporarily grounding them for medical reasons, Alunite knows what they have to do to set things right.
They’ll return to Brittle Hollow, temporarily revoked piloting licence be damned, and they’re going to find their missing audio-log if it’s the last thing they ever do.
What they don’t know is where they’ll find it,
and that in order to find it,
they need to fall.

There's a formula, after all this time: you land near one of the camps, introduce yourself and go through the typical speech, and then pull out your bag of marshmallows and let yourself take a break. You've discovered so much. You have all the pieces; you know your final destination.
But for now, you have all the time in the universe and an infinite collection of sugar. Why not finally put it to use?
