Summary
Jack meets a quiet (and likely troubled) little girl and decides to become her friend no matter what.
Jack Frost was flying around a town in Virginia, bringing a bit of cold fun before it was time for Winter to hit. He laughed, letting the wind carry him between buildings and down streets as it pleased. Until, suddenly, he felt eyes lingering on him. He swirled around and saw a young girl staring at him as a middle-aged woman - her mother, he supposed, given their similar appearance - led her along the sidewalk by the hand. He stopped following the wind to smile playfully at her.
For a quick moment, she almost smiled back at him, but then her eyes glanced up at the woman with her and her lips fell flat, her gaze turning down to the ground before her.

I knew that they would find out eventually. It’s not like I could really hide my biology forever, not when we live on the same ship, not when we’re so close. Really, I should have just told them a long time ago, it would have saved us from this awkward situation where no one knows how to react.
I try not to shrink under everyone’s undivided attention - even Robin’s sweet smile is kind of suffocating - but it’s incredibly difficult, my shoulders hunching up as I cross my arms. “R-right.” I manage to choke out, “I would like it if. You could continue treating me as you have been… please…”

Several hermits had accidently gotten hurt pretty badly lately and found themselves safely tucked away before anything could happen to them after passing out.
