Everyone is born with a timer. He stopped looking at his years ago.
What was the point? He had spent half his life in blood and smoke and loss, watching good people die while he kept surviving. Whatever was waiting at the end of that countdown — she deserved better than what he'd become. So he buried it. Buried her, whoever she was.
She never had a timer at all.
Just a bare wrist and a lifetime of being told, in quiet ways and cruel ones, that she was wrong. Incomplete. That she simply didn't belong in a world built around a connection she would never have.

Summary
For two months I worked on a collection of snippets tied to Love Between Fairy and Devil. I’ve added AU elements, and altered the timeline slightly, but they’re still very much connected to the show. It’s Orchid-centric, dreadfully wordy (I apologize for this) and unbeta’d. No summary really. If you know the show, that’s all the background necessary. I just wrote what inspired me at the time and I’m pretty happy with what I was able to achieve after years of nothing, so that’s all that matters.

Her legs are spread wide over his lap. A hand in her hair pulls tight, her scalp burning from the tug. Grace arches her back just enough for Leon to kiss a trail from her lips down her jaw, down to her neck.

Set sometime after RE9, Leon and Grace fuck. That's it, that's the whole thing.
Leon looks up at her and she can't stop herself from stroking his hair. It's very soft. She wants to keep her hand buried in it forever. “Can I?”
Can he? Jesus Christ, Leon Kennedy can do anything he wants to her and she'll thank him for it. She bites her lip and nods, helps him slide off her jeans and her panties. There's always an awkward moment when you're naked with a new partner for the first time, but it feels different this time. Leon looks at her almost reverently, his hands gently stroking her everywhere, her calves, her thighs, her hips, before pushing her legs open further and leaning in.
