“So…you bring a tree indoors, put a bunch of stuff on it and then put your belongings under it?” Collector questioned with a head tilt, eyeing the decorated tree skeptically.
Luz smiled, she had a little Santa had on her head. “That’s right! And then Santa comes and brings the good kids toys!”
Instantly, Collector looked nervous. “…What if you’ve been bad?”
“Well, typically you’d get coal. But I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that.” Luz winked at them, petting them on the head.
Collector couldn’t help getting giddy at the idea of getting presents. They’d been working really hard to be a better person this last year, and Luz and the others seemed to think they were making great progress.
They only turned people into toys like fifteen times in the last year! That’s a personal best.
