Crocodile hit the Grand Line like a superstar, rising fast enough to take the New World by storm and become a Warlord in his mid-twenties. Sadly, his train of successes would crash into the wall that was Edward Newgate and the Whitebeard Pirates. And unfortunately for Crocodile, Whitebeard's favorite thing in the world was angry young men with axes to grind.
