Summary
SCP-035 managed to talk its way out of being executed by the Hanged King, but now it, SCP-049, and Dr West are being punished for causing trouble in Alagadda. But they're not sure what the punishment even is - they've been sent somewhere lovely. Nobody's trying to kill or cage them. 035 gets to perform for an adoring public. 049 is treated like a legitimate doctor. Dr West gets to relax for the first time in her life.
Is Alagadda really so twisted up that it considers peace to be a punishment?

Summary
What defines humanity when machines feel more than us?
You had pondered for months after the revolution to find a decent answer. However, you didn't seem to ever find one. They were just like you; they experienced desire, love, happiness, grief - even if people would argue that they were programmed to feel "emotions". And so were humans, too. Programmed to feel, but also programmed to turn it all off. Maybe the differences between you and him weren't so great anymore? Perhaps, the two of you were no different at all, except the color of your blood. And one was made from flesh, whilst the other wasn’t.
[Update August 2023: No longer posting or updating the fic! Sadly all inspiration and motivation to write this fic disappeared :( the last chapter ends on smut tho have fun]
