Summary
Mustering up all of his self control, Big narrowly stops himself from turning right around and teaching them a thing or two about respect, and about not believing every damn thing they hear. Not that it would help – just about everyone who works for this godforsaken family has taken this – this rumour; this lie as absolute truth, no matter what Big has to say about it. No matter how many times Big denies it.
Big is not in love with Kinn.
Or,
big was never actually in love with kinn, everyone just thinks he is, so chan pretends to date him to put a stop to the rumours. feelings ensue

Summary
There has never been anything more important to Big than his loyalty to Kinn. But after Porsche arrives, and Big falls into a not-quite-relationship with Chan, he begins to understand there might be someone else who cares about him in a way Kinn never will.
Of course, that's when guards of the minor Theerapanyakul family approach him with a bribe—and Kinn orders him to accept.
And even though there's no doubt in Big's mind that his betrayal will lead to his death, he can't tell anyone the truth. Not even Chan.

Summary
"I'll mark you," Chan repeated, as if Big hadn't heard him correctly.
"Why would you do that, sir?" Big asked. It didn't make any sense. Was it simply because Chan felt pity for Big? Or did he still want to get a piece of his ass?
"It’s the fastest and safest solution. Your status and position as a bodyguard would remain intact, and no one will ever discover your true nature."
"At the cost of your well-being, sir." Big reasoned.
"You don't have to worry about me, Big."
Big shook his head, confused. Even if he always despised his omega nature, he had always imagined being marked as something intimate and private between two people who loved and cherished one another. To Big, being marked meant committing yourself to another person for the rest of your life, but Chan had clearly suggested marking him for practical reasons. It was simply a business proposition, a practical arrangement, nothing more, nothing less.
