Summary
Hannibal is a God known for his taste in human sacrifices and his tempestuous nature. Every season, the local town must give him one human to keep his favor and keep him from decimating them. This winter, Abigail is called up to be sacrifice, but Will takes her place.
With a plan to kill the god, or wound him dearly, he goes off. But the night may not end in blood, seeing as the old god is incredibly interested in Will, for reasons other than to eat him.
At this rate, it may have been kinder to just have been eaten.
