Summary
George is on his feet in a heartbeat, seat sliding back with a screech. And then there’s pain blossoming across his knuckles, the force of the impact sending him veering to the side before he straightens. The bar is suddenly hushed as the heavier man stumbles back and hits the counter, grasping the edge with one hand to right himself. Blood slides down George’s newly aching knuckles, tangling in the light hairs on his forearm, and Dream stands between him and the other, his eyes wider than they’ve ever been.
Oh fuck. He just punched him.
And Mark is holding his nose as blood gushes over his lips and down his chin, a crook to the bridge that signifies a badly broken nose. His gaze lifts to meet George’s, and the severity of what he has done settles in. Dream twists to look at George, and he mouths the word ‘run’.
George turns and takes off.

George and Dream try to have a nice night out, just the two of them hanging out on a stormy evening.
The universe has other plans.

“What could you possibly help me with anyways?” George switches the conversation in a desperate attempt to stop his cheeks from turning even redder.“Kissing.” Dream says, abruptly.
The students in the cafeteria still move around them the same, still carry on their conversations and laugh and yell at each other, and yet for a moment, George swears everything stops. For a few seconds, it’s as if everything has faded away into a blurry background and nothing else is important, and it’s just George and Dream staring at each other. Red blush snakes its way up George’s neck and his cheeks turn impossibly crimson.
George is pretty sure he’s going to explode.
He wonders at that moment if Sapnap had truly been right; that everyone knew that George has a crush on Dream, even Dream himself.
Dream asks George for help in chemistry, and in return, he promises to teach George how to kiss. It doesn’t go how either of them expects.
