Dragons are a lot of things, They're big, strong, fearless and aggressive creatures
At least that's what you'd think however the people who have met the Dragoon hero Ryukyu tend to disagree and this is true for a young Izuku Midoriya as well, after a lot of tragic accidents involved in his life and ending up on the street the Number 9 hero was the last person he expected to meet.
Not only that but he also didn't expect for the woman who could turn into a giant dragon to be so...comforting.

Izuku Midoriya, an aspiring Hero with a useless Quirk, is heartbroken when his lifelong idol tells him to reconsider his options. He doesn't know what else to do but cry in the park until a husk of a man offers him ice cream. The man, named Toshinori Yagi, tells Izuku that he might still have a chance: If he worked hard and entered Yuuei's General Education program, then he could potentially transfer into the Hero Course if he won the Sports Festival.
With a new path forward and a mentor to guide him, Izuku takes a very different road towards becoming a hero.

Pro Hero media is a mess of differing opinions on Deku, ranging from idolization to condemnation. Fan clubs and hate clubs alike have popped up online. Despite his rousing speech in Hosu and his call to action, Deku has been notably absent from the public eye in any meaningful way.
With tensions high and no word from the one at the heart of all the chaos, the question must be asked: just what the hell is Hero Intern Deku doing?
(Honestly? His best.)

We all know how unhealthy Izuku's friendship is with Katsuki, in the beginning, so what if he focused on healthier friendships instead?
With the speedster Tenya Iida, and the unbound Ochako Uraraka at his side, how much more would Izuku value himself and those close to him when he grows to understand the difference between healthy, mutualistic friendships and toxic, parasitic friendships?
And what would happen if one of those new friendships grew into something much deeper?
