Summary
Chuuya fell in love. Over the course of a week and a half, the brunette boy with seemingly endless charisma and a never ending list of things to do stole his heart and dug his claws in deeper than either could have expected.
As with all summer flings, it ended as fast as it started, and he returned home with an aching abscess he couldn't shake if he tried.
Then college started, and...
And...
...The clock rewinds. He gets a second chance. He goes back to a moment, two months before the inevitable, the thing that had been written in fate's design since the beginning, and he changes something. Another decision. Something different. A butterfly affect.
It was so simple.
He can save him this time.
Will that be enough?

Summary
"Chuuya, will you marry me?" A soft voice murmured from above him.
He didn't look up, still busy tying his shoelace he offered Dazai a flippant "No."
Dazai had a habit of saying weird shit out of nowhere. It started with his dumb bet of "Be my dog". So there was no way Chuuya would take this seriously. Dazai was just being his usual weird self.
Except, when Chuuya finally looked up, done with his laces, Dazai didn't look like he was joking at all.
--OR--
Three times Dazai asked Chuuya to marry him and one time Chuuya says yes.

He knows he's going to have one hell of a crash when he realises he's fallen in love with Chuuya, at eighteen, right after setting off a bomb under his car.
There is soot on his face and the tips of his hair were burnt in the explosion. Dazai stands there in front of the fire for an indescribable amount of hours. He thinks maybe time itself has stopped. Then the sun sets red-hot over Yokohama.

"I SAID LET GO OF ME!"
Dazai hesitated for a moment, watching the anger and pain swirl in the other's eyes. Without warning, he pulled Chuuya into a tight embrace. To say it was a surpise would have been an understatement. Though Chuuya had quickly moved to shove the other away, the shove never came, rather he gripped the other's shirt and let out an agonizing scream of frustration. A soft sigh left Dazai as he felt the other cry against his chest, gently shushing him.
"...You know, I may have disliked you a lot when we worked together in the mafia but you're much more tolerable now that you work for the agency with me. But I hope you know you aren't just some pawn. We do genuinely care about you," He said softly.
"...I don't know whether I should be happy to hear that or kick your ass for that first statement," Chuuya replied with bitter laugh, sniffling a bit as he calmed himself down and wiped the tears from his eyes.
